At Firgrove House, we strive to promote activity and have an ongoing programme of daily activities, entertainment, trips, seasonal events and special occasions to maintain both physical and mental well being. The daily care programme is organized as a response to clients’ individual and combined needs. Regular meetings are held with clients to assess the day to day running of Firgrove House. We are always keen to hear new ideas, and families and friends are encouraged to participate in all activities.
The Spiritual needs of residents are important to Figrove House, and we will respect and encourage their beliefs. We are fortunate to have a variety of churches and Places of Worship in the Locality, who will visit the home. Currently we have Grace Evangelical visiting us every Monday afternoon and every third Sunday of the month.
Firgrove House has an open visiting policy; we welcome visitors at all times, however meal times are an important part of the day for residents. If it is possible to avoid these times between 12pm – 1pm and 5pm-6pm it would be greatly appreciated. You are more then welcome to join your relative for lunch or tea if you contact us and make arrangements in advance. We feel it is important for family members to visit their relatives when it is convenient to them.
There are car parking facilities located to the rear of the property, access being gained from Station Road, via a lane to the right hand side of the building.
