Firgrove House Residential Home is a family run care home providing a warm, friendly and welcoming home, together with the very best level of care and support for 20 residents aged 65 years and over.
The accommodation at Firgrove House is arranged between two buildings, with landscaped grounds peacefully set back from Station Road. The property dates back to the 17th Century and was once a resting place for travellers on the Old Bristol to Tetbury stagecoach run. The Fir tree avenue that gave it it’s name are nearly all gone, and the accommodation now lends itself to the Main House, which offers residential care for 14 clients, and the cottage style conversion of the old Coach House which accommodates 6 clients.
The Main House and The Coach House have Care Staff available 24 hours a day. The aim of all staff at Firgrove House, is to create a warm and friendly environment for all our clients, making it a happy place to live.
The characteristic features of Firgrove House are successfully combined with modern facilities to create a traditional homely atmosphere together with the comfort and security of round the clock care. Our excellent team of care assistants, support assistants and house staff ensure our residents, and their relatives, have peace of mind in knowing they will receive the support and care required, whilst retaining their independence and enjoyment in life.
